Power Skating

Power Skating 1

Power Skating 1 is the first step in building strong, confident, and game-ready skaters. Designed for kids aged six and up with basic skating ability—including forward and backward skating and stopping without help—this program focuses on developing proper stride, edge control, quick starts, and agility. Through high-energy drills and focused instruction, skaters learn to move with purpose: pushing harder, turning sharper, and stopping faster. Whether they’re just starting hockey or ringette or looking to sharpen their skills, Power Skating 1 lays the foundation for future success. Full hockey or ringette equipment is required.

Power Skating 2

Power Skating 2 takes the skills developed in Level 1 to the next level with more advanced drills and increased intensity. Skaters continue to refine stride technique, edge work, and stopping power, while introducing more complex elements like crossovers, tight turns, lateral movement, and transitions. This level focuses on control, speed, and efficiency—skills essential for competitive hockey or ringette play. Skaters are challenged to push their limits, build endurance, and move with precision in game-like scenarios. Full hockey or ringette equipment is required.
